Daily Wellness Report: 3.14.20

PRIOR NIGHT’S SLEEP: Approximately 8.5 hours.

MORNING SUGAR: 139.  Continuing to drop to normal levels after a week of far too many high highs.

BOWEL MOVEMENT (s):  2 BMs this morning.  Second was rather quick after the original -- as usual, the morning coffee got things moving.

BREAKFAST: 2 cups of coffee, with cream and 4 total Splendas.  1 banana.  1 Belvita breakfast biscuit.  2 pieces of peanut butter toast.

LUNCH:  Leftover pasta w/ mushroom/onion tomato sauce.  1 Cadbury creme egg (they're officially gone now, so that luxury will be off of the menu until next year).

DINNER: 1 diced/fried potato with onion (split w/ the other half), 1 Angus beef burger (infused with cheese and bacon).

SNACKS: Evening snack:  several handfuls of chips.  Afternoon snack: small cup of milk and several cookies.

EXERCISE: Full body stretch.  110 push-ups.  500 ab crunches / sit-ups.

TOTAL NO. OF STEPS:  As I'm logging off, steps show as 3571.

WRITING: This blog.  And I screened a film, penned a review (been a while, but felt great!)

THERAPY HOMEWORK:  None.

SOCIAL OUTINGS: Not necessarily a social outing, but we braved the pandemic and made a quick trip to the corner CVS for some cream (must have for morning coffee) and got a good deal on some paper towels (no TP to be had).

MEDITATIVE WRITING: None.

READING: A little reading on that final Lovecraft story, this afternoon, before a lovely nap.  Hoping to continue after I log off for the evening.

HOUSEHOLD CHORES / PROJECTS: Emptied the dishwasher, took down the recyclables.

OTHER / MISC.:  N/A.

DID I MAKE THE BED?  Yes.

DID I POOP MY PANTS? No poopy pants.

Again, since we were inside most of the day, no poo anxiety.  And while the Coronavirus anxiety is still very much present, I felt it less acutely today.  Perhaps I'm already moving into the "this is the new normal" sense about the whole situation.  While no less conscious of washing hands, etc., I feel I can maybe get back to some serious writing work tomorrow -- hoping that my mind can be less preoccupied with potential death and apocalypse and infection.
